Chasey is an abstract artist who deeply integrates her emotions into her artwork, employing various materials and colors to convey her understanding of emotions on canvas. This personal approach allows her to express herself more authentically through her creations.
Having nurtured a passion for painting since childhood, Chasey pursued her artistic aspirations academically, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Oil Painting from Shandong College of Arts. Her thirst for exploring various painting styles led her to the United States, where she embarked on a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) journey at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Chasey discovered a burgeoning interest in Graphic Design during her studies, compelling her to pursue a dual degree. She is dedicated to enriching her knowledge and skills in her chosen art forms, eagerly embracing the challenges of mastering painting and graphic design.

Artist Statement
Through my painting, I've crafted a unique language for emotional release. Born from shadows, this practice became my sanctuary, a beacon guiding me away from despair. Each brushstroke battles the darkness lurking within the human spirit and signifies a pivotal shift in my artistic dialogue. My creations are mirrors reflecting my evolving self, capturing the essence of vitality and joy found in vibrant hues. This journey has birthed a personal vocabulary of art, distinctly mine.
The allure of my work intensifies as shapes morph, colors clash, and diverse materials merge. This immersion into an array of colors and textures unveils unexpected layers of my subconscious, challenging my tendency to stifle emotions and guiding me toward the luminosity my heart yearns to express. Moving from the turmoil of past expressions to a love for vivid, shining colors and smooth movements, my art is now alive with a powerful presence.
This journey through the canvas is not just an artistic endeavor; it's a source of profound personal fulfillment. It nourishes my belief in the possibility of renewal. With an insatiable curiosity, I continue to explore the spectrum of emotions through new chromatic explorations, each painting not just a search for new hues but a testament to their emotional weight.
